About Us

Who we are

The first step to freedom

AA is Independent

Bayside Beginners is an Alcoholics Anonymous group in Cleveland Queensland Australia. Our primary purpose is to help people live a better life through the power of The 12 Steps program.

The first step to freedom

AA is Independent

AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. We are only here to help the still suffering alcoholic.

The first step to freedom

Come along to one of our meetings on Wednesday at 7pm or Saturday at 5pm. It is a relaxed and often powerful setting and you may find it is the help you have been after. We are wheelchair accessible.

Our Stories

We are a broad mixture of people from all walks of life. Here are just a few stories of how Bayside Beginners has helped us.

Our Group Purpose

We love newcomers and we respect your anonymity.

Our main purpose is to pass on to Beginners vital and accepted facts about the AA program of recovery. We do so by sharing our experience, strength and hope about our own recovery from alcoholism.
